KRUEGER INTRODUCES AN ALL ALUMINUM MODULAR OPERATING ROOM AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

Krueger is pleased to announce the release of SterilFlex™
SterilFlex is Krueger's new hospital operating room particulate control system. Manufactured entirely of high grade aluminum, the Sterilflex system allows you maximum flexibility without the prohibitive cost of custom designed Stainless Steel systems. We do this by offering configurable modular aluminum components. However, Sterilflex retains the exact airflow geometry used in our world-class Sterilflo® System, thus assuring you of technology proven over three decades of experience.
Ceiling Compatibility: SterilFlex consists of three major components, modular plenums, engineered slot and perforated panels, and the Integra-grid frame system. The unique Sterilflex Integra-grid frame system offers maximum ceiling compatibility. Whether your ceiling is traditional 5/8" sheetrock, a suspended type, or even a combination of the two, you can easily configure the perimeter system to match. Even the center panels allow the option for standard surface mount, t-bar lay-in, or lay in an optional adapter frame in a sheetrock ceiling.
Easy Installation: Aligning and leveling a series of OR room modules used to be difficult. The unique Integra-grid of the Sterilflex system speeds installation by allowing less precise alignment of the plenums, and allowing separate face installations. Additionally the full length flange on both sides of the plenum allow hanger rod placement where you need it. Large, upward facing caulking grooves in the frame make short work of sealing the installation. Room side, long integrated framing runs, and frames of heavy-duty extrusion ensure a neat, workman-like appearance without excess labor.
Variable Inlet Locations: Sterilflex offers you a choice of either side of top inlets. Additionally, with side inlets, you may also select left, center or right inlet positions. Furthermore, it is possible to reposition any given plenum in its socket to create an inboard inlet rather than the standard outboard.
Proven Performance: Studies prove that total particle reduction has no correlation to viable particle reduction in the OR. In the final analysis, proof of viable particle reduction is what really counts in the OR environment. Despite our competitors having 25 years to meet the challenge, Sterilflo is still the only OR particle control system ever tested in the OR during actual surgery! In those tests, our air curtain’s unique ability to draw contaminated particles from the sterile field helped it meet the most stringent standard for microbiological air cleanliness.
