Our Commitment to Continuous Improvement
Air System Components, Richardson, Texas has announced that Krueger has been awarded the ISO-9001:2008 certification. Krueger, a Tomkins Company, is a major HVAC manufacturer focusing on grilles, registers, diffusers and VAV terminal units in the North American market.
ISO 9001:2008 applies to industries involved in the design and development, manufacturing, installation, and servicing of products. The ISO certification process ensures on-going compliance to standards of performance because, once certified, companies are externally audited every six months for continuous execution of the standards. Conformance to ISO 9001:2008 quality assurance standards required the implementation of procedural changes, training, increased documentation, and adjustments to operating systems on every level of the manufacturing process. Managerial, engineering and customer service systems of Krueger along with the Tarboro, North Carolina manufacturing facility were identified for process implementation and certification. ISO plans are well underway for our remaining manufacturing facilities as well as our research lab in Tucson, Arizona.
